CRICOS Registration Required for Enrolling Students on Student Visas

CRICOS Registration for Education Providers

In Australia, education institutions can only enrol and deliver education services to students in Australia on a student visa if they are registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

This requirement is part of the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 and the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Framework.

Applying for CRICOS Registration

Any provider intending to offer education or training services to students must apply for registration to the ESOS agency for their education sector.
