CRICOS Registration Required for Enrolling Students on a Student Visa

Who Must Register on CRICOS

Under the Department of Education’s National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018, education institutions can only enrol and deliver education services to students in Australia on a student visa if they are registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

How to Apply for Registration

Any provider intending to offer education or training services to students must apply for registration to the ESOS agency for their education sector. This requirement is part of the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Framework.
