CRICOS Registration Requirement

For Australian education providers, registration on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) is a mandatory condition. According to the Department of Education, education institutions can only enrol and deliver education services to students in Australia on a student visa if they are registered on CRICOS.

How to Apply for Registration

Any provider intending to offer education or training services to students must apply for registration to the ESOS agency for their education sector. This requirement is outlined in the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 and is part of the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Framework.
